I read there was two taliban check points outside of the airport a couple of days ago. I do not know if that changed with the US trying to shut down the crowds outside of the airport since lat night.

I don’t know what the set up is but I have not seen any report there is a security breach at the airport and with 4 killed US service members, it’s more than likely those marines were working outside of the airport complex.
