I doubt very seriously they’re concerned with the WHO.

Everyone involved with the evacuation, exception being Biden, have publicly stated it’s impossible to evacuate everyone by the deadline.

Which puts Biden in a precarious situation, he’s already waffling on the deadline date now despite the Taliban’s “Red Line”.

Abandoning US citizens there, which reports are saying are isolated in areas away from Kabul, inserting idiom, will be the straw that breaks the camels back for his administration.

Sooner or later our Commander in Chief will grow a set, tell the Taliban we are evacuating our people regardless of location and set in motion the necessary response. If the Taliban had half a brain they’d let us gather our people and leave. However they understand the ineptness of Biden and will force a confrontation ending with a military response, level of escalation to be seen.

Biden is trying to prolong the inevitable praying for a miracle, which hour by hour fails to materialize. The pieces have been positioned, clocks running out.....

Either way Biden loses, in fact he’s already lost the confidence of the country, but if we take the initiative the innocent win.

We are supposed to get an update from the State Department today about how many known Americans are still in Afghanistan and requesting to leave.

Don’t underestimate the importance of evacuating Afghans that worked with the US. A great number of these people are educated and specialized. Not only will most of them be a benefit to any country they settle in, it drains the Taliban of needed human expertise. Who will be running the water plants and sewage treatment etc.

  5. The deadline is closer than we think. You just can't pack up nearly 5000 troops along with all the gear and leave in a day. We'll begin bailing out by the weekend without an extension, which is entirely up to the Taliban.

How much do you want to bet that we get every American citizen that wants to leave out of Afghanistan by Aug 31?

Imagine having to walk around with a broken back for 3 years and 4 months. That sounds so painful.

I think you guys on the right have spiraled this matter down to leaving planet earth. For some reason bad isn’t good enough for you guys and you guys always seem to find a need to exaggerate. Things are rough in Kabul right now.

We are conducting possibly the second largest human airlift in history from an unsecured city, surrounded by enemies. Huge problem and should have never been in that situation. However, our military is doing an extraordinary job under incredible circumstances and actually making very good progress.

We are moving people and going out of the airport to get Americans. How that will continue, I don’t know. What is the number of Americans requesting to leave, don’t know that either.

What I do know is this will go day by day, hour by hour and right now we are moving forward at a very good pace.

When the US pulled out of Balad it took months to remove all the gear, personnel, strip the base before the last service member withdrew.

How anyone can expect the Military, specially with the amount of hardware, munitions we had in place, to just leave at a moments notice????
