I wonder if Jen Psaki will give us any more lectures today on how "businesslike" the Taliban are. Maybe if they are so businesslike, Bloomberg will do some interviews with them. Or perhaps we will see the Taliban doing commercials for Rosland Capital, trying to resell some of the gold that they are getting backchannel from the Biden administration. Taliban. "businesslike." Not your father's or even your world anymore. Unless you are one of the paid posters sipping on the kool-aid. Of course, at 25 cents a post, an argument could be made that they are businesslike too. OR NOT. Speaking of "businesslike," I am pretty sure that Achmed over at Taliban Motors can get you a great deal on a used or even unused Humvee.
A US drone strike the military called 'righteous' mistakenly targeted an aid worker and killed 10 Afghan civilians, including 7 kids, a report says https://news.yahoo.com/us-drone-strike-military-called-211205239.html
If true, that is the same strike where Joe and the Clown Generals were bragging about how their new-found buddies, the Taliban, "helped" them to identify the Isis threat that they allegedly eliminated with that strike. Wayyy to go idiots. Taliban conned you into striking a civilian worker helping the U.S. just for shiites and giggles and to push your disgrace even deeper into the toilet. This love affair between Camp Biden and the Taliban is definitely picking up speed. The whole Biden administration has become the Taliban's bitches. All the Taliban want is their check.
The Great Escape narrative just keeps getting worse, day by day new revelations on the ineptitude of this administration. I wonder what new Covid EO’s he’ll announce next week to combat the negative news. Probably go on the air and call all unvaccinated, lying dog-faced pony soldiers, then announce FEMA is setting up camps to quarantine them. This guy is burning down the house on his way to senior assisted living.
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/09/10/world/asia/us-air-strike-drone-kabul-afghanistan-isis.html Times Investigation: In U.S. Drone Strike, Evidence Suggests No ISIS Bomb U.S. officials said a Reaper drone followed a car for hours and then fired based on evidence it was carrying explosives. But in-depth video analysis and interviews at the site cast doubt on that account. Times reporting has identified the driver as Zemari Ahmadi, a longtime worker for a U.S. aid group. The evidence, including extensive interviews with family members, co-workers and witnesses, suggests that his travels that day actually involved transporting colleagues to and from work. And an analysis of video feeds showed that what the military may have seen was Mr. Ahmadi and a colleague loading canisters of water into his trunk to bring home to his family. While the U.S. military said the drone strike might have killed three civilians, Times reporting shows that it killed 10, including seven children, in a dense residential block. Mr. Ahmadi, 43, had worked since 2006 as an electrical engineer for Nutrition and Education International, a California-based aid and lobbying group. The morning of the strike, Mr. Ahmadi’s boss called from the office at around 8:45 a.m., and asked him to pick up his laptop.
So, they gave the okay to murder this guy and the children so that, Joe Biden can claim a win in the political front? Joe Biden is utterly incompetent if that is still in doubt.
This should come as no surprise. The left intentionally destroyed an economy while ruining millions of lives, bankrupting hundreds of thousands of businesses, and flipped constitutional rights upside down, all just to win an election. You think these bastards give a shit about a dead guy and his kids? They needed a cover story to distract from the colossal evacuation debacle and that was that. Never gave it a second thought afterwards. It's who they are.
I'd wager a look through some history would show this evacuation/withdrawal was one of the least lethal ever. Our 20 years of raids, artillery fire, drone strikes, etc., have killed tens of thousands of Afghans, most of them innocent non-combatants. Writing the story as Biden or Trump did this means we're going to continue to not learn the lessons.
