That is a big, fat joke that the Taliban is against the IS terrorists. Remember, the Taliban had full control of the Bagram Airbase jails where the IS terrorists and Taliban are locked up. So, don't tell me the Taliban does not know who of those terrorists are one of theirs and which ones are IS affiliated assuming, the BS premise of the Biden administration and their lackeys? If IS are their enemies, why would they set them all free? To kill them? Does that utter BS even make any sense? ET trolls will agree with the BS premise that the Taliban and IS are sworn enemies? Taliban and IS are all Sunni muslims, compared to the majority Shiite muslims in Iraq? So, they have more in common as to ideology, both Taliban and IS and even Al Queda. Remember, they gave Osama Bin Laden a haven to conduct terrorist activities?

  3. You need a software program to follow how snaky the Afghans are.

Ahmed Massoud was the legendary commander of the Mujahideen who ousted the Soviets- no small feat. It is true that Bin Laden also fought on the same side as the Mujahideen but with another group. The western press lumps them all together but there were differences.

Anyway I digress a bit but it falls under the general heading of how snaky these guys are. They will play on the same team or not depending on what their needs are that week. Snake Village on steroids under the influence of the Consummate Snakes-the Pakistanis. Osama Bin Laden killed many Americans on 9/11- because Americans are Great Satans and all of that BUT JUST TWO DAYS BEFORE 9/11, Bin Laden's group assassinated another person: Ahmed Massoud- the aforementioned legendary Mujahideen commander who drove the Soviets out. Did I say "snakes," boys and girls?

Massoud's son of course is the Northern Alliance Leader now in the Panjshir Valley. Not sure their efforts are headed anywhere but they may at least succeed in keeping the scumbags out of the Panjshir Valley as they did with the Soviets and the first round of the Taliban.

Snakes- and it is about to get even snaky-er.

  5. Lindsey Graham: 'Whose decision was it to pull all of the troops out... I just don’t know'

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) seemingly forgot on Sunday that it was former President Donald Trump who set a deadline to end the U.S. war in Afghanistan and then began the drawdown of U.S. troops.

During an appearance on Face the Nation, CBS host Ed O'Keefe asked Graham "what kind of consequence" President Joe Biden should face for the withdrawal in Afghanistan.

"Did he get good advice and turn it down?" Graham wondered. "Did he get bad advice and take it? What the hell happened? Whose decision was it to pull all the troops out? Was it good advice ignored? I just don't know."

O'Keefe pressed Graham on his desire to impeach the president.

"Yeah, I think it's dereliction of duty," the Republican senator replied. "I don't think he got bad advice and took it. I think he ignored sound advice and this is Joe Biden being Joe Biden."

  8. And, as discussed, the Snakefest begins to ramp up.

Terrorist group which has sworn loyalty to the Taliban fires on Pakistan, killing a couple soldiers. Nice, and meanwhile Pakistan is funding and supporting the Taliban.

You need a Batman Decoder Ring to see who these snakes are affiliated with from week to week, as discussed earlier so I will spare ya.

Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). You guize remember that. Just when you thought you were getting smart because you could name fifteen or twenty local tribes and terrorists groups right in that area. Nope. When it comes terrorist groups, too many is not enough apparently.

On a somewhat more serious note, I had mentioned last week that some of this is not necessarily going to be a free ride/happy day for Pakistan and China. I will skip China and the uiyghar scerio for now, having just done a rant on it. But as part of that discussion I said that Pakistan is playing a dangerous game because they are funding the Taliban to do some dirty work for them but at the same time the Taliban are mostly Pashtuns and the Pashtun homeland crosses the border into Pakistan and they would love to move the government in Pakistan out too. This little terrorist attack mentioned above smells something like that. MORE TO COME.

Two Pakistani soldiers killed by militant fire from Afghanistan
Bajaur is one of a number of lawless tribal regions on the Afghan border that have been longtime destinations for militants, Reuters noted, including an Islamic militant organization dubbed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

TTP, which threw its allegiance to the Afghan Taliban after Kabul fell, reportedly took responsibility for the attack in a telegram message shared with Reuters, but it rejected reports that the group suffered losses in a retaliatory attack.

  9. Laura Trump says she can't figure out how her great father-in-law got into bed with the Taliban...

Lara Trump tells Fox News she can't figure out how the US became allied with the Taliban

President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law was confused when speaking to Fox News Sunday. While most cable news stations are focusing on Hurricane Ida making landfall, Fox is still absorbed with Afghanistan.

She began by attacking President Joe Biden, who received the caskets at Dover. Ironically, she made the attack while demanding that the country be unified.

When the hosts turned to Trump about Afghanistan, she said that couldn't figure out why the United States would be coordinating with a terrorist group like the Taliban.

The reason, of course, is that her father-in-law began working with the Taliban and made deals with them. Without such deals, the U.S. could have done anything they wanted while withdrawing troops.

Trump set a secret meeting with the group, the New York Times described. They recalled one moment when John Bolton met via video conference as Mike Pompeo and his negotiator Zalmay Khalilzad was meeting with the Taliban.

By Feb. 2020, Trump announced it had been a "long and hard journey" in Afghanistan, but that "it's time after all these years to bring our people back home."

"I really believe the Taliban wants to do something to show we're not all wasting time," Trump also said. "If bad things happen, we'll go back with a force like no-one's ever seen."
