Maybe thats why those psychopath/sociopath genes got weeded out. Those folk tend to anti herd and would have got killed off quickly.
You'd have to know what experiences they had from the time they were born. The young of all species are risk-takers. If they weren't, they'd never learn. Most likely they'd die. Which in an evolutionary sense would extinguish the non-risk-taking behavior.
But dbphoenix is right nurture plays a huge role, our belief systems shape our lives, 99% of people believe that they don't deserve to be wealthy/free. They just believe that people on the other side are lucky and it all just fell into their lap. I don't think that fear is learned behaviour, its present in most animals. If I start letting off an ak-47 at a lions of humans feet both will feel fear.
