Taking profits is hard - How much you left on the table today?

  1. Can never agrue with taking profits of any sort. No such thing as a trader going broke by taking profits. Greatest "flaw" that you can wish for in a trading system.

I beg to differ on take early profits

experience taught me that early profits are a good way to earn a salary

but real money is having balls to wait for big moves.

instead of asking myself did I make enough money today

I ask myself what does situation look like.

Will there be likely further move or is that it.

for example I got out of Nas Fut at 84 and shorted at 91, just didn't like the chart

however if charts looked good, I wouldn't touch it even if it were 30 points down

    I am an intraday trader.

I only get out of a position for profit if
    1. Its near the end of Trading Session
    or
    2. I stop and reverse.

This has help me tremendously with my previous problem of taking early profits.
