  1. the most important part of this practice is ABSOLUTE integrity in all aspects to NOT disappoint the audience and make them distrust this kind of practice by all as has been the case with Susana for example.
Anyhow, also note there is a difference of 4504% between our objectives in a 9 months period!!!
My gain of $71,280 with 18k capital Vs. $245,000 with a 5k Capital.
In any case I wholeheartedly wish him total success. Anyone going through this experience is already a winner subject to 100% honest transparency.

    "Target Ending
Capital" Initial Capital Gain Target Months Days @ 22/month Average Daily Gain Gain %
    $250,000.00 $(5,000.00) = $245,000.00 9 198 $1,237.37 4900%

    $89,280.00 $(18,000.00) = $71,280.00 9 198 $360.00 396%

    difference 4504%

Judging by some of the posts - I guess I'm one of the few who have read and understood every post in this journal. I continue to enjoy Allen's progress as I am still on my journey in trading the eminis towards attempting something similar. I am also following your journal and wish you trading success.

  3. Thanks for stating the obvious, but I don't know why it's necessary. Are you trying to say your goal is doable and mine isn't? Other than that what else can it be?

Clearly, anyone who has a target less then mine has greater odds of success by definition. BTW, I'm not competing with you for eyeballs either in case that thought crossed your mind. Good luck.

  4. Hey allen, how you do'in?

Cathing a little heat as ususal, huh? :)

I merely menat that the method is a "C+", not your execution of it. Anytime you have inverted risk:reward ratios (taking heat of 6 ticks to make 4), it is less than optimal.

    Good trading.

  5. I'm hanging in there, thanks. (Always taking heat...too much in fact.) Today, I'm treading water and may quit at B/E. I had my daily goal and made the same novice mistake again, trying to pull another wisker from the cat's nose. I'm dissappointed that some of the most basic lessons are hard to sink in,but that's what makes this experiment so valuable.

I'm trying to adjust the RR to get to 1:1 but it aint so easy. For example, I had put on a great trade and had a 2.75 point gain, but the strategy called for +3 and guess what? Missed by a tick and got out at entry.

Maybe the trading gods are telling me to take the rest of the day off.

I regret I haven't had time to read all the posts so maybe you changed it but isn't a target of only two points really very small. Hardly in before youre out again or is that part of the winning strategy ?

  7. Depends on your point of view: to some 2 points sounds very small; to others, it is an insurmountable task.

Do you trade ES? If so, try winning "only" 2 points each and every day. (If you're doing better than that, you are in the top 5% of traders in that market.)

  10. Because to keep focus and be disciplined continuously is a monumental achievement.
