    Allen,

This removes any doubt about what you do. You are willing to go much further to prove that your trades are real then anyone I have seen here. I salute you for doing this.

Anyone who doubts it now is simply a troll.

    Regards,

  3. Um... I had a 12k account around Feb last year that is around 76k right this moment and I traded very conservatively. I didn't withdraw anything since I have another account that generates my income.

So yeah, it's possible to generate a decent return on 5k.

  4. not quite as impressive but i turned my inital $4k account into a $20k account. of course i kinda cheated by depositing $10k when i decided to trade full time. : ) in six months i haven't completely blown up (back to flat at $20k) but gosh i'd like to be consistently profitable like that.

i found this thread last night and am thoroughly enjoying it. just wanted to say good luck and i'm looking forward to following the progress, allenhobbs.

  5. No one would be that crazy to go through the hassle of night after night posting false statements. It would be totally counterproductive since if and when the objective is reached the OP I am sure will gladly and voluntarily have the statement independently audited and post the results to further benefit from his great achievements.
If anything, all those posting unsubstantiated journals should be asked to stop crowding the forum with imaginary numbers… with the exception of the P/L 2008 thread, which serves a different purpose.
FWIW, I am not accusing others not posting statement of posting false numbers, rather I am saying what is the point?
Allen, focus on production and do not get defensive about the Photoshop accusations…once at 250k I am sure you will gladly have your statements audited and pay for it yourself(just a couple of more trades at that time and the audit will be paid for…lol).
Now, on the trading issues, either you are over leveraged at 4 lots per 11k or I am under leveraged at 1 lot per 20k?!
    Good luck

  6. Sorry, I am not going to incur the costs of an audit for those who seek that level of comfort. This isn't an IPO!

At $11,000 net equity, I will increase the trading size to 4 contracts which I expect will commence 4/7/08.

Thank you for following the Journal.

  9. Hey Allen,

Interested in knowing how you decide your entry/general overview of your method.

I understand that disclosing it might be disadvantage to your trading, but I have to try. :D
