  2. I've made the goal for the day. Unless there is a setup which is utterly compelling, I'm done.

  3. Just got caught in the unexpected BSC rumour spike. Had a sell limit @134700 for hours and just got blown out to a 6 tick stop in a nanosecond. Still up on the day. Oh well, that's trading.

  4. Just recovered the 6 ticks! :)

No kidding a CFO at a large company, no wonder that tells of the state of our financial system. Just doubling your money will take the heck out of you and the euphoria that comes with it is impossible to manage even for the most seasoned...

  6. You sound angry. What is bothering you about this challenge?

By the end of this week, the account may be $10K, double from inception.

    Allen,

Others reading your jounal may be angry at their own lack of profits or jealous of your success thus far, but I find your journal very inspiring and wish you continued success. I'm looking forward to seeing you achieve your goal and hopefully you'll share some of your methods here in the future.

One thing I'm curious about is that it seems you prefer to trade in the pre-market rather than the regular session. If that is so, can you shed some light on why you prefer it? Thanks.

  8. trade volatilitly in the options market if you are trying to make 2.5% a day.

  10. Thank you for those kind words steam09.

I treat this as a business. The sooner I can get done making my profit, the better to quit and spend time on other things. Many of the major economic reports are released before the opening and that presents opportunites.
