Large cap penny stocks that are either on the brink of bankruptcy or in bankruptcy make the best momentum trades. Then there is the crew that you all were holding your bellies over and never got 1 share while it went up and up and up. I still feel these could double in little time. Ford, GM, Fannie/Freddie, AIG and C.

Then there are other long forgotten ET faves in which the experts pounded the desks wanting to buy when they were at their all time highs, but wont touch them at this low point which are FMD, VMW, RSH,JASO, etc.

Why play with options when you have stocks that act just like options with less risk?

Last year I made about 2500 stock trades with TDAmeritrade, and my account value is over 100K. Today a TDAmeritrade advisor from a local branch called me, and I asked him about lowering the commission. He said he might be able to get approval for that if I transferred more funds into my account. The only thing he could do for me was give me 50 free trades. Should I call up TDAmeritrade HQ instead?

somebody has got to do something like this for 09'. Better yet lets make it a competition! neke vs. ???. Although I guess neke will be more concerned getting to 2 million.

Anybody with 100K want to race to 500K? Or should we see how high we can push it for the whole year? That would be some entertaining shit. real screen shots would be necessary! I'm down to 95K because I just "invested" in a golf course. But I would try it if anyone is interested.

Can we start/form a group that will seriously pursue this?

How are we going to do this? How are we going to stay motivated? How are we going to position size to all but prevent complete account loss?

I'm rearing to go, but I always need a group of people going in the same direction to keep me motivated.

The next two quarters are absolutely perfect for growing zilch to millionaire (due to volatility), but also for falling to nothing! I think that with smart trading there isn't anywhere to (reasonably) go but up!
