    Account Balance is currently 2291.

    Daily results so far:

    Day 1: -215.2
    Day 2: 527
    Day 3: 539.5
    Day 4: 249
    Day 5: 0 (FOMC Day)
    Day 6: 151.3
    Day 7: -472.5
    Day 8: 582
    Day 9: -403.5
    Day 10: 833.5

I mentioned earlier in this Journal that sometimes i get compulsive well yesterday (day 9) was one of those days, it turned into a crap shoot, i went into hyperactive mode and did 17 trades to finish the day down 400. I was out of sync with the market and should have stopped trading after about 4 trades.

Today my trading went back to normal, only took 4 trades for a profit of +833

Nice trading. Good job keeping the losing trades in check. Thats sweet that that's all tax free. You'd think all UK traders would be using bucketshops since winnings are not taxed?

  6. i have seen in your screenshot you have tradet the dax future,
yet i wunder how that would be possible with only 1,5k in your account

isnt the margin for that contract over 5k for most brokers?

are you realy trading a 25eur/point contract future with a 1,5k
    account?

if so your profits still look impressive but your risk is way to high

dax can jump 30p in a heartbeat what would result in a 750eur
or 1000usd loss for a single trade, even a 10p loss ( which is nothing ) will result in a 250 eur loss which makes it a 25% loss
on a 1,5k account with just a single trade

    what am i missing

i trade this beast every day

    good luck with your journal

An idiot? That equity curve looks pretty nice to me. The higher it goes the harder it gets though. I've been where Millionaire is at. Nevertheless, good luck Millionaire!!

  8. agree with the too-much leverage comment - 10 lots on eur/usd for that kind of account balance is pretty risky

unless you are getting in some really awesome set-ups

but ur taking such small profits

maybe that is why u r doing so well :D

  9. I also have an accourt with igmarkets and one thing you'll agree on is that if you have your stops too close with ig, they will find them. Impressive results so far.

Yes IG give margin to stops, so you could trade 100 eur/point with a 1.5K account if you attach a 10 point stop with your entry order. Ofcourse if the market gaps through your stops, you could end up with a negative account balance and end up owing IG money.
