  6. You know, when i first started reading this thread, I gave Piker the benefit of the doubt. I thought to myself, yah, maybe he knows what he's doing. 90% returns is phenomenal, I dont care if its a massive bull market this year. SnP 500 is up like what, 23% this year so far ? and he's done 4x that.... Not bad, but not hard also, if you are leveraged up the waazooooo.

But, then I heard that he JUST started investing when the market was at the bottom. Dumb luck

I remember when I was a noob, I started tracking a bullish swing trading strategy I thought was kickass back in early '06. Then, market started to dip, and by early '07 i kicked it to the curb., my kick ass strategy was no longer kick ass. It was LOSE my ass. Good thing it was not real $.

I am afraid the same thing is going to happen to Piker. he's using some pretty crazy leverage it seems. All it wil take is a few really bearish days for a couple hundred thousand bux to go bye bye.

The bull market is definitely getting to his head, thinking he's a good trader. But what happens when the market starts chopping ? or even worse going down ? You say you don't go short. Well, what is your strategy when we get a correction.

And we WILL get a correction. Even if its only to the tune of 10%. What are u gonna do when you are that heavily leveraged ?

  7. WARNING:This portfolio is not your grandmothers suite of indexes.

I clearly stated in the beginning that this was an aggressive, passive index approach that utilizes trading like risks and thus is a good benchmark for active trading returns.

I do fully anticipate large draw downs from time to time ,on the order of 60-70% from peak.

I know that 70% sounds huge but , heck it would take approximately 55% to put me at my starting value.

I also expect time periods of very little to no growth.

The only real disaster I can see would be the elimination of certain instruments in the midst of historic lows.(It still would be possible but would require the activity of duplicating the index strategy with all of the underlying securities).

Hopefully the volume and instruments available in the futures market will expand to offer an easier synthetic index creation and mgmt.

  8. 1) I wouldn't know how to do time stamps with my broker.

    2) Since I don't close my positions the price is just the value EOD.

    3) I suppose I could copy my trade confirmation tickets and include $ purchase /sale.
However as I have mentioned before I will not be disclosing the security name or price.
I'm not going to have anybody riding my coattails. awwe too bad baby!

    4) I'm not a multi-millionaire yet, but I will be.

    5) Since these are tax deferred accounts all withdrawals are subject to a minimum of my marginal income tax rate.

  9. I don't understand, how much do you intend to give to charity?

C'mon we all know how this works.

Proving my accounts to be real will be like proving God's existence.
No amount of proof will be deemed acceptable to you, thus you supposedly win.

    Please drop the childishness.

You are still welcome to post your returns or anything you think relevant.

  10. This week's been a little on the ugly side.

Not really surprised obama has been unable to spend more money lately to prop up his house of cards.
