I am going to say that Ringo is actually close to a double top and the next dog will be shorter. Stop at half a dog head above Roma, target below Rio's chin.
Yes, look for an intradog entry in the Ringo's head range. Half a dog head stop = good rule of paw in the absence of a technical stop. Good dog:doghead ratio too. You'll be in the +100 pups a day club if you keep this up.
History of this thread. - Begins in journal, and some moron moderator moves it to technical analysis - Morons who do no understand TA express their frustrations by ridiculing everything and/or forming personal battles at random. - Moron moderators instead of cleaning garbage take the short cut and move it to chit chat. I'm done with this board, fuck you all.
Sincere apologies to you, RedTankEra: mod has moved your thread to Chit Chat Understandably sponsor might have not approved of its abstract nature (nor calling TA into doubt, as might have been interpreted). It seems aggressive, futile, ongoing arguments are OK and accepted by the mods, but a potentially thought provoking, albeit abstract take on technical analysis is not. It was neither meant to be pro nor anti TA, although I am pro TA. Not all sense of humours are created equal. You seem upset, but shouldn't be. It's just a thread.
A little bird told me that rumour has it the OP is the same person as Scalout.Scalper and Trader.Fighter (seen in posts #10, #22 and #41) from this thread. So when he says he's done with this board, he's probably only referring to the RTE alias, not the others.
most likely true. Her persona is like something from an episode of American Greed. She claims >100% on notional year in year out as an easy target to hit, biggest drawdown is a couple of 10 tick losers in a row, and advises noobs they can trade for a living in a 10k account. How many times have I seen this story told on American Greed- a friendly, family oriented, self taught market whiz, who loves to help others and claims amazing results with no drawdowns, eventually revealed as a fraud. With ND's numerous references to 12-step programs in past posts I have often wondered if she doesn't have in her past some issues with addiction and/or compulsive behavior. Low and behold we have proof in this thread where she admits to heavy drinking in her past: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?t=168911 "I drank fairly heavily for many years from late high school through my late 20's " "I cut way back on drinking when I started trading in spring of 2008. When I started day trading a few months after that, it didn't take long for me to quit completely" Just a theory, but maybe she has transferred her compulsive drinking behavior over on to day trading? Not saying it's true, I don't know for sure, but it could explain this online fantasy she's been living for over 6 years now. Perhaps she needs to get into a 12-step program?
Perhaps you think that posting a chart with no commentary whatsoever makes your thread a journal, but I can assure you it doesn't.
