Probably why you dont make much money, im always looking at what I should have done and ways to improve upon that.
The arguably most succesful trading pyschologist ever-- Dr. Brett S-- disagrees with your views on TA and its use. Secondly, Van Tharp, another somewhat succesful trading psych readily admits that he CAN NOT trade himself. Perhaps learning from your mentors would be a good place to start? surf
They are not my mentors so I respectfully disagree. My personal 8 year experience in trading combined with psychology background convinced me in things I do and the more I trade, research and analyze myself and other traders the more I am convinced. BTW, there's nothing wrong if one is unable to trade. This profession is not unique. Not everyone can become a good surgeon too as an example. Some specific traits are required for many professions and it's not a coincidence those professions are also high paid.
Does one not need to learn from their mistakes and observations in the states? Its not really quite an assumption to say any person in any undertaking will fail or at best get substandard results if they refuse to "woulda coulda shoulda" Woulda coulda shoulda is how we learn and build models of behaviour to use in response to our situation (y)
Thank you Surf. We'll see how it goes in the long-term. I don't exclude the possibility that you're right and I'm wrong, just a matter of evidence.
Out at a gain of 200. GVZ down another buck today to 27.25. Still in the GVZ futures screwup at a gain of 200 as well.
