TA - Objective or Psychological Skill?

    2. I can only speak from my direct experience , What i read on the internet isn't enough to change my opinion built on direct experience with succesful traders/fund managers.

  2. Sorry, but you are missing the point.

    Your statement about not lasting a year has no basis in fact. You have no way of knowing if that particular individual will or will not succeed.

    Therefore, you were being mean-spirited, and you should be bloody ashamed of yourself.

    Is winning an argument so important to you that nothing else matters?

  3. You couldn't be more wrong. I'm far from mean spirited. I believe the method he describes as using is guaranteed to fail over the longer term-- hence my bet. What's wrong with disagreeing with the long term effectiveness of a trading tactic? I hope he changes his tactics to ensure his long term success. Could I be wrong? No question about it. I can only go by my direct experience. surf

  7. 23 years of direct, hands on experience in the financial world.

    I hope he makes it in a huge way and proves me wrong. I know folks who would pay a guy like that more money than you can imagine, if he has a real edge.

  8. That pig won't fly. People who have closed minds typically end up with 1 years experience, 23 times.

    He used a method that worked, despite all the pathetic souls who say it could not possibly work.

    There is no bloody way you can prove it will stop working within the year.

  10. 1. I use multiple strategies-- only those interesting enough to write about enter my journal yes, at times I hold positions too long.


    2. Wrong. I only want others to think for themselves. I could care less if you or anyone else believes what I have to share.

    3. You have over 30k posts, do any of them add one bit of value to the trading community?
