Speaking of TA, here's how ES looks on the daily. If I day traded this chart, it would be a long (assuming today closes up as it looks now or better and HOD is broken then). All odds of course, but we're still in a bull market.
Was it removed for being to large? My apologies. Caculator tape? Its profit/loss for the day, 27 trades 1 loss. Largest loss 1.04 largest win 1200. Fairly standard profit/loss ratio for crawling around the 1 minute time frame.
LMFAO! You have Cornix beat for fanciful dreaming. Sure, this can be done, but it is no way "fairly standard", for a manual TA trader. surf
Fairly standard by my standards, cant speak up for anyone else. I mentioned a while ago one can be tight as hell with the 1 minute time frames, hence there were trades with 0.64, 2.58, 3.80, 4.16 profit etc They were bad entrys and collapsed into the negative moments after exit, the rest from the 20s to the hundreds and thousands. I have a hellish cold, so as I do at such times, traded lower volume to account for the mental decline that comes with that. The figures of which I did not mind sharing so much, people do this everyday, each to their own. (y)
No, correct me if im wrong he is a teacher? If I am not being paid to learn on the count that those teaching expect me to, sooner or later, work for them and make a return from what they have taught, or to be taught it took some time for the person to reluctantly agree, because they create more of a return out of their time than they ever could out of mine, I am not interested in teachers or groups. When I want to learn something about an aspect of the market the questions I mostly put out are to the extreme and I work backwards from there. Trading groups outside of the professional realm or a group of seriously dedicated traders probably end up like cults.
Perhaps the reason why Cornix is dreaming is that he is being fed lies by his TA comrades--- it's quite possible that he believes the claims of TA expert and other brigade members are attainable. If he can make good on his promise of 20-40% returns then he shouldn't have any money worries in his future. I think there is a danger for him however, if he lets himself fall too far under the spell of the big talkers and hindsight jockeys.
People can fall under the spell of big talkers and big achievers, the failure outcome will be the same in both cases, if there is no end to reach or one does not have the skill level to reach an existing end. What ever happens keep in mind you are talking about a developed adult who can make thier own informed choices, worrying that they are being influenced by the words of others is a little silly... On a side note long term I suspect he will do just fine.
