Does anyone know if trading platforms pay royalties for providing indicators like Wilder's RSI, Bollinger Bands, etc. to their developers?
For the those basic indicators, they don't. Usually if a trader wants to use some sort of proprietary indicator then he/she will buy the indicator as a file download off a third party vendor then transfer it to the platform.
