  1. Pure price action has value. TA as used by almost all "traders" sucks. Giving it synonyms changes little.

  2. The definition of technical analysis is the study of price action.

  3. We are well aware of this association.

But again, pure price action has value. TA as used by almost all "traders" sucks.

proflogic has it right. Price rules bacause price change is what makes the bottom line red or black.

Think of a wheel and what it does, RIGHT, it goes round and round. Now replace the wheel with tradingfor money and describe HOW that wheel goes round and round. The emotional keyword called money to describe how, why, when something will, should, might happen will bring out a million different explanations, methods, signals, indicators etc.

Think of trading as a simple wheel and KISS. .. :D

    Hello cortez,

I have a number of technical analysis books. I would say, hands down, the best beginner/introductory book on my shelf is "The Technical Analysis Course" by Thomas A. Meyers. That's the one I would suggest.

If you are so convinced that TA doesn't work,
then the obvious thing for you to do is to learn all you
can about TA and then do just the opposite of what
    your analysis indicates to do!!

If TA doesn't work, prove it!! Prove us wrong and make
    money doing so!!
