Recently I have been having trouble with my cable internet connection, it has become hit or miss on some days.

Does anybody use a T1 line?

If you do do you get it through your cable provider and is it worth it; NO connection problems with it????
    TIA

Cable providers don't offer T1's - it would usually be through the telco or a reseller. You can still have problems with a T1 but you would usually have a service level agreement with the provider that would guaruntee swifter action if there is a problem. For better reliability you really need multiple, independent (different providers), varied (T1 and satellite for example) paths.

  5. You may want to look into getting DSL if available to your location.

Also many cable providers offer commercial grade which has a higher level(or so they say) of service.

You may find that a T1 is not worth the cost unless they are very cheap in your location (compared to having DSL and Cable for redundancy)

T1s go down once in a while sometimes for hours as well.

    Best of trading to you
