  1. HUH? We randomly poked the noisy pig during research and it fell into the blanket?

    Is this your logic?

You said that the system was not mechanical.

What is your mechanical system doing during LOW volatiliity, opposite of what you are now calling extreme volatility.

When are you going to start charging for subscriptions? I want to be your first "paid up" subscriber. I've been saving spare change that I have found on the Subway.

My method is neither 100% mechanical nor 100% discretional.
I actually use both based on certain criteria I outlined in the
2BC Trading Plan. Those on the HOT LIST have the "FULL" disclosure on the entry & exit criteria.

Remember that Technical Analysis is just one form of analysis used to read the market.

    Characteristics of TA are

    1. Discretional
    2. Mechanical

both derrive thier value from some form of TA.
Econometric modeling is a form a TA on a Fundamental scale.

You can both quantify & qualify these methods when backtesting various strategies on an ongoing basis. Stop loss mechanisms can be "mental"- not placing the physical stop loss order in the market . or "physical"- an actual working order in the market.
You can derive your predetermined value when backtesting these various models. It is my belief when trading one should be able to have the flexibility of going from discretionary entry to mechanical exits.

    Thank you for your question.

    Good morning HOT LIST subscribers.

There are quite a few buy & sell signals today to be on the look out for. Today's Swing Vix Indicator shows a reading of +.21 which is Bullish. There is still some upside potential left in the NQZ3 according to daily charts.

I still believe that upside could be limited and that we could get a +.40 reading on NQ by weeks end. We will be mindfull of this going into today's trading. Today's Stock Index Futures 2BC Signals are "Neutral". The E-mini S&P 500 however does show some potential intra-day 2BC SCALP METHOD possibilities on the long side of the market.

October was a great month for the 2BC SCALP METHOD!

Today was a quite day for the most part with the market filling the gap from last week testing the 1445 resistance area in the NQ. Look for a nice top to be put in this week with a HUGE drop off going into next week. All the good news has already been bid up into the price so no more room left for late commers to this rally. Look for bears to take advantage by weeks end. Stay alert.

    Good Morning HOT LIST Subscribers.

We expect to see a NRD today as pricess consolidate some of yesterday's gains. More bulls to pile on at these levels (late commers to the end of the rally). Expect the rug to be pulled out from underneath the market soon. 2BC System Flat the Indexes waiting for a positive sell signal. This market has not yet topped out so expect more upside but "LIMITED" upside as Swing Vix is now in Overbought territory & registering a +.34 reading today.

Probability of a reversal today is limited. Past reversal's have taken place at a +.35 reading but I don't think that will be the case with this current market but we shall see. If we get an EOD buy signal we will surely take it in the mean time.

Also, note today's potential 2BC Chnnl Break-Outs in the Individual Stocks & Single Stock Futures.

Good Luck & Good Trades. :)

NQZ3: Look for the NQ to find support around the 1428 - 1437 price range. good intra-day long entries.

slow quite day today as the market awaits more good news to push prices higher. this news may not come. Look for prices to continue to chop until we get more economic data.

    Lazy day.

Please be on guard for the many potential breakout candidates.
I will update later after the open.

With the Swing Vix Indicator @ +.35 we still arguably have still some more upside left with a possible one last leg up. Possible breakout target = 1460.00 in the NQ.

What appears to be happening is a fake out to run stops below support before one last & final push higher. Wait for a bonifide "Sell" signal before shorting. These pullbacks should be viewed as "dips" worth buying.
