    Has the world gone mad?

I once read where interest rates on T-Bills were NEGATIVE at some point during the Great Depression.... Investors were happy to PAY the government to buy T-Bills.... Safety first... rather take a guaranteed small loss than risk losing it all.

    Will we see that again?

  2. Hahahahaa Now @ 0.10% Yield.

  3. Holy Crap. 30 year now yielding below 4.00% When was the last time that happened. T-Bills going for 0.07%

Good chance the misery lasts long enough that it will seem like forever...

  7. Hey, I have property in Canada and the Caribbean. If country collapses (which seems increasingly likely) you got to go with the flow.

It's all about diversification. Don't have all your eggs in one basket.

  8. BTW I was talking about the American Empire. Nothing lasts forever. If we're lucky we'll end up like the British and not the Romans.

Unfortunately, we are profligate spenders like the Romans... hope somebody wakes up soon...

  10. Crisis averted. Treasury bonds are collapsing after reaching historic highs.
