  1. I find tick charts to be cleaner to read and summarize the overnight session nicely. Definitely preference as I've heard of superstar traders that use minute charts all the time..

  2. Morning Prep..

Well the 1825 was satisfied overnight with an even better trip to 1828.. Rounding top not a good sign but only useful if confirmed with a decline under 1810. Thinking short at this point (Hourly TL broken).. 1819 to 1822 good areas.. IF 1829 area is seen again then will short there expecting 1810 to 1830 range. Bottom of box (if so) a bit unknown though.. could be 1802/1806 area...

  5. Will torture myself no more today watching what should have been.. Closed another trade early. Had stop comfortably at 1801 but reacted to the nearly meaningless grind to 1799, cancelled preset cover at 1788.5 and took 1796. Hopefully this problem will be gone once I work up to multiple contracts in which case I can satisfy whatever it is I give in to and leave a runner for the day or at least to the unemotionally pre-planned target. At least then it's on my terms even if complete close-out targets are still foolish.

+12.5 for the day on 1 trade.

  7. Hmmm... when I am in that place.. overwatching and overvaluing my little gain in my mind (there are reasons for this, trust me), I doubt the DoD, FBI, and CIA can stop me from clicking.. The only solution which I will never give up working on is to leave the crime scene before the crime (Minority Report..?).. OR get/build-up to a point I can get out in increments. Complicating such a simple thing...

My system allows only Brackets or Trailing Stops with no target out and stepping the trail needs to be so slow may be worthless.

think of it as a responsibilty , not a choice, these ride em winners cover all the bad trades at small losses, profits have to be bigger than losses, because the losses may outnumber the wins ratio wise, so to profit the wins have to b larger to offset

  10. I use TOS just for charts courtesy of Ameritrade no charge. That's whcy I am currently manually putting my trades on charts.. TOS looks like a bear to trade with though.. so much to wade through.. No system can fully save a man from himself, only time and pain.
