true, but you didn't bill your own time into the cost. as for sysco type, they are profit-seeking companies, their dilivery trucks are on the highway everywhere.

It's a hobby. I do it for fun, too.
My bread has only 3 ingredients....flour, water and salt. Read the label on a loaf of store bought bread.

As for Sysco, great way for a low-mid level chain to control costs and quality.
The restaurants I go to have people prepping fresh ingredients in the morning to serve for dinner. No comparison to the ones that buy from Sysco.

    Hey Cabin....
Having read your posts forever, I know that you're a pretty prudent investor, smarter than most in this game for sure... so I'm gonna give you a wayyyy off the radar stock that is rock solid and probably suits your style.

    Stride Inc.
    $LRN ---->$39.20

Now they have earnings on 8/15. You could buy it now and sell the August $40's for $2.40, but I'd wait on the selling the calls because I think it will spike on earnings. If it drops you'll be in the stock for $36 and change if you do sell the calls, but again, I wouldn't this time around. Do some DD on it if you want. It's a 10 year hold. The climb will be slow and steady.

    Just a suggestion. ;)

I make my own breads also though generally with frozen yeast. Pizzas too. I never had joint inflammation from Irish or UK pan loafs but I do here in Colombia and in the US. I don't have any especial gluten issue but I noticed that commercial bread takes ages to or never develops mould here and that can't be good. If fungus can't survive in it, probably some additive they are not listing. Could be for discouraging Italian flour moths.

I bought a few flours and found one that develops mould at the time one would expect. The moths love this flour and can make a little slit in fairly thick clear plastic bags so I've started storing in a new garbage can.

Good P/E and good products. Many people hate WOKE shoved down their throat by the public schools. I can see the growth of charter schools...People want them, back to basics.

Here in California, the strongest union is the teachers unions. They control the whole state...I kid you not!! They will have a say in the expansion of charter schools. They will have a say on who can be home schooled. This will spread to other states. You will have people fleeing to charter private/parochial schools. But they can not afford the cost. Most people would choose private schools, if they had the choice.

I believe the teacher's union is too powerful to allow changes...

I think what you will see in the future, is more the Asian/Indian/Muslim model of education. They will go to public schools (limited amount). Then in the afternoon have study groups with friends, family, and people of similar culture. I believe communities of all races will go this route. Sure there will be sports and other after school curricular activities. But, the days of handing your kids over to a full time woke teacher are limited in my view...

  7. This laptop is fine as a desktop replacement. $3k is not a big expense for this. If needed, I can connect 4, 4k monitors to it. Since I often travel a lot, whether by truck or car, the portability is nice.

As far as work, the company I am currently leased to would be a likely first customer as they have a history of utilizing their contractors for other endeavors. Further, I have plenty of value-add for them.

After becoming reasonably proficient at editing, I may explore at creating my own production company. Perhaps you have under appreciated the extent of my DK!

Your dick? Making Hunter Biden stuff? ;)

I'm a novice producer though my three shorts have an IMDB average of 6.8 with several hundred reviews now that two are playing on streaming services.

But that's just for fun, making a solid living off it would be a very different matter.

I guess film is like food, everybody eats so a disproportionate number assume cooking professionally is no great shake. Directing and cooking have a lot of parallels.

Anyway good luck but just don't go into it with a big chunk of your brain not working. Scripts are first.

When it comes to sprawling conspiracy youtube gibberish, you do have the advantage.

I 100% agree on the sector. Plus they are a leader in the trade-school stuff for kids that choose not to go to college. That's a big deal now. We need electricians, plumbers, etc.

The other area I like is they are established with various state prison systems, basically doing the same thing regarding learning trade. Lowering recidivism rates by teaching these folks the skills required for above average blue collar jobs is one little cog in the wheel of change to make things better. And that's what the current flavor is in our new woke world, and surely will be going forward. As it should be.

Regarding your "Good P/E " lol..... just so you know.... it is a good PE, but trust me on this one too, I dig about 1000X deeper into a company's books than that. These guys are rock solid. Now that doesn't mean it won't sell off on the typical WS (4X/year) ADHD quarterly earnings bs.... where folks will come back and say "VZ, that pos dog stock, I'm down to $34 from $39"" .... but you ain't like that. That's exactly why I shared it with you. Plus, I think its gonna gap up anyway. ;)

It’s naturally leavened with a starter that is just water and flour. It picks up the yeast that all around us in the air.
