Is there any good option book which will explain in details with examples the synthetic versions of normally known option strategies like covered call , vertical spreads, calender spread , butterfly, diagonal spread and there may be more names. Thanks and much appreciated.
Charles Cottle's book option trading the Hidden Reality has I think an interesting way of understanding synthetics, he explains how all positions are interchangeable. Useful information for active market makers. Here is a link to some youtube vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MB2q_3OhKA
