Rabbit Ears at Support are usually worth a second look. If price gaps up at the Open next day grab a 10-minute chart and act accordingly for a 2 to 10 day hold and your stop loss is close at hand. This setup can lend itself well to bracket trading. ymmv. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...st-right-here-baby.335635/page-9#post-4999326 https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...st-right-here-baby.335635/page-5#post-4932619 Bracket Orders - Could Your Trading Method use them? https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/bracket-orders-could-your-trading-method-use-them.349950/
This is real money in live trading --- just small trades --- see the TOS Cash Report with time stamped trades on my first post.
ZM --- A trade gone bad. After the negative market action to a seemingly stellar earnings report it looked like the downward pinbar of June 3rd was sending it lower but I took a beating on it this morning. Then, I finally went long as it now looks like it could go to 355 then 375. Is it time for Zoom to zoom? Sorry, couldn't resist that. See attached chart.
End of first week which really is only two days since the first positions were entered late in the day on Wednesday. I changed my spreadsheet P&L to the TOS Liquidation Value which brings all open positions to market. That is the only fair way to compare performance to the Index. NDX +.85% SPX +.66% Me +.50% In looking back I should not have started the Journal by loading up a full position on the spot at the beginning, but over all not too bad a start considering the Zoom trade lost me .4% and kept me from being the early leader. My spreadsheet and TOS trades are attached above.
