In above journal, I went from 30k to 110k in about 4 months. My Max DD allowed was 70%

Then had a big drawdown came to 55-60k.

Then again went to 98k and finally ended that journal at 78k.

So, its certainly possible to go to 100k from 30k in one year, then next year it should be logically possible to go to 300k. In this journal, my max DD allowed is 30%.

Now, lets say we don't achieve our goals, we end up with 220k after 2 years, with a a max DD of 30%. It is also not bad.....right? :)

I forgot to mention it - This is not a paper journal. I have enough confidence in my methodology to run it on actual money now.

  4. I'm going to venture to guess He bought the ES last friday, and sold this morning right before the Ukraine attack on Russiua was announced...just a hunch, though!

Just logged to ET after a 10 days or so. Surprised to find this change in forum.

So, the reason I have not updated this thread or sent any mails to people who are on my mailing list is because my computer has became very unstable. I have been working for last week to run various kinds of tests to figure out whether something is wrong with the software or if any hardware component needs to be replaced.
Most likely there won't be any trades posted this week and next week also. I will update when I am ready to post trades. Thanks everyone!

I find it too difficult to trade the ES.
Gave that up a long time ago.

  10. That's a very good quality for a trader. Know where your limits are. Prevents you from huge losses. Trade what you understand, and only when you understand it.
