People are mixing possible with probable.
It's possible to buy a lottery ticket and win millions, but the chances are slim.
I'm not saying that trading (not investing) has the same probability as lottery.
Debating about what's possible is pointless, cause almost anything is possible.

Yes, it's possible to make 100%/month, or to turn 10k in 200k in one year.
Like it's possible to run the 100m dash in less than 10 secs.
Like it's possible to walk on the moon.

Folks who really trade with real money knows the real deal.
The others are just dreaming about it cause they continuously read such insane comments on the Net about what's possible.
No wonder why they say that 95% of traders failed!!

So, summing up all posts of nearly 10 pages, the result is, there is someone who makes 1.7% a month with swing trading consistently.

You even do not need 10k at risk capital, just 300 Euro like me for a 50k account on a prop firm (like FTMO or any other in that space). Then you can make much higher returns than with own compounding because they give you the 'capital' or drawdown you need to risk and profit more. You can watch my progress on my recent thread of my Journal too.

I swing trade too and also sometimes daytrade too and I made 0.5% profit today in one day only. You can see it in my journal. I used very conservative below 1:1 leverage too.

And what did you make as an average per month by swing trading only, without day trades? Because that's what the TO actually asked.

Not to be disrespectful, but come back after a couple of months.
One day 'might' be a bit too early to gain victory.
    FWIW.

Is that 0.5% profit on your total account or only on one trade?

You will never do it trading put spreads....

Look at the guys who claim to be doing 100 percent plus returns...

Either they trade cash or long options...Tight money management...

Ask what percent of their trades are profitable and the AVG gain/avg loss is...

You are taking a conservative strategy(assuming relatively tight wings) and dreaming you can do 30 percent plus per month...

Ive read your posts, and it doesnt appear you have ever traded

Several trades but far below 1:1 leverage I used so far, so very low risk.
