for now yes..Those are all my setups, and for now with them too, but I dont like to make any advertise about myself on that way
cool. im looking for a bounce on XMSR to short, but im having internut issues, so i may have to sit today out. good luck
http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07202006hsp.jpg One example what setup I like to see. HSP have weekly cup with handle, so swing possibility. Also 30 min reversal H&S, 60 min consolidation. So with intraday setup I can get swing move. Also can be use for smaller time frame traders. Day trade or few daysâ trade. Depend what someone like. If anyone have question feel free to ask Ivica
IMPORTANT: Take only opportunities what really like and really understand trading plan. If have question always can ask me, but isnât good way to be successful if will take trades without understanding. That is very important. Only few trades is enough for successful trader, they donât need a ton every day. Have that always in your mind. Market commentary: Good day! Market had range day after morning selling and back to daily support area. That can see that on daily charts. For now every stronger bounce finished with stronger selling after intraday consolidation. http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07242006qqqq.jpg Hope we will see bottom this week but look like for that we need to see strong selling with big volume, and for now that isnât case. http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07242006spy.jpg My bias for next week is short, but will be prepared for bounces. In bear market bounces from lows can be very strong so I will mostly look for that possibility after reversal pattern. After strong selling on daily charts I wonât feel good in swing short trade and I will look more for smaller moves then swings. http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07242006dia.jpg Have on mind that we are in earning season and that can affect market action. Nice thread, Ivica. You're providing a great service to ET. Thanks. The consolidation break is an excellent pattern, imo, and focusing on continuations with measured move targets really helps a trader stay focused. Also, I appreciate your advice to all about the need to only go with setups they like and that it's not necessary to trade a lot to do well. Well done, and thanks again.
Market commentary: Good day! After morning gap market futures come up above Friday high and that bring some extra power in yesterday action. Result is strong intraday bounce from daily support area. http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07252006QQQQ.jpg That buying program stopped right at resistance area what you can see on yesterday watch list charts. Since QQQQ is weakest then have problem with 1st moving average and that is 10ma.Same situation like last week at Wednesday. http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07252006SPY.jpg SPY and DIA both have problems with 20ma on daily chart (green line). I see room for morning move up, but because of earning season and those resistances what I mention above I will use more caution on long side right now. Also you can see on intraday charts (60min) that market need rest for healthy break, and I will again expect consolidation day today. Better action for pivot traders. http://www.swingcharts.net/Ivica/2006/07252006DIA.jpg Good luck Ivica Juracic p.s. apologies for any language mistakes IMPORTANT: Take only opportunities what really like and really understand trading plan. Ivica, a question if you don't mind. I know we're talking about consolidation so it doesn't matter what geometric pattern we draw. Re: (OMC) 15 minute chart. I'm wondering if on your charts you go back and adjust lines. OMC for example penetrated the upper boundary of the flag and failed. Will you then go back and redraw the upper boundary to reflect the new local high? Adjusting the lower boundary parallel to the new upper boundary seems to be more accurate to the price action as re: the lows and produces a nice rectangle. I recognize this doesn't affect the upper limit of the anticipated move. Thanks.
