Keep up with the news. Just came out the hospital study that it didn't do deadly scat. Study was not very well done though.

It is the HCQ + Zinc that works but they have to use them from the beginning, not when the patient is on the ventilator already.

Instead of HCQ one can use Quercetin and green tea with Zinc, the poor man's treatment as I call it. On the other hand pretty much no side effects.

Brand new analysis, largely comparing Sweden and UK. Here in Spain happy to see more and more official voices raising against the lockdown, although we are still deep in it, but not quite as bad as 2 weeks ago. Hopefully government gives up on locking the tourism and leisure industry until the end of the year, not so keen on moving country again after just having having spent months settling in.

    Yesterday's death numbers:

    D. + F. + N. = 28

    Sweden: 172

Yes it seems early lockdowns helped quite a bit, at least in the short term and regarding coronavirus deaths. Still far from sure they will end up a good idea . Much less late lockdowns.

Daily new cases in Sweden hit a new high, 751 new cases yesterday.

The trend in sweden is still going up.

Health data from the IHME predicts 285 people will have died in Finland by 4 August, 356 people will have died in Noway, 806 will have died in Denmark, and 10,854 will have died in Sweden.

10,854 Swedish deaths is like 350,000 deaths in the US.

Facts, haven't got links, news on TV and mate in the NHS I talk to regular, old school talking to people.

The normal 6hour wait in the UK A&E has been down to 8mins in most hospitals recently. ( mate )

UK peaked Hospital bed useage on the 8th April been falling in all areas since. ( BBC News site )

And 1800 deaths WE 10th April ( BBC News ) where people didn't want to ring 999 for heart attacks and strokes incase they got C19 ( FEAR ) , additional above the national average for that week. with 6000 C19 deaths ontop of aswell. ( started as 3800 then got edited down to 1800 ) ( BBC News )

UK TV said early, NOBODY who has needed a Ventilator or ICU at this stage has gone without. ( BBC or Sky GF has on I think ? )

Good job don't need those 16,000 ICU's, as the have no staff to actually run them, without taking from normal hospitals, then yeah all the hospitals are useless.

Typing from phone and lazy to dig the links now but already 1 week ago in Madrid emergency rooms were seeing only 1 third of the average number of patients before the epidemy. It might be even lower now.
Yet from memory space in ICUs has been very tight in Madrid especially around the beginning of the lockdown, would need to look up the situation now

Most folks don't realize that, without a vaccine, the same total number of people will catch the virus at the end of the day whether there was a lockdown or not. Sweden is doing this properly by building herd immunity much sooner than places with lockdowns. In the meantime, they aren't purposely destroying their economy. Sweden and places like South Dakota have it right.
