Sweden's population is not dying at a rate 10 times higher than others. In fact, Italy and Spain's populations are dying at 3 to 4 times the rate of Sweden's. ---pssstt ---they had lockdowns.

  2. In TX, there is no restriction for my movement. Yes, non-essential public gatherings are restricted. It is perfectly legal for the government to regulate public gatherings.

I'm sure the data by someone or an organization that follows such type of data will post it after the end of the fiscal year...most countries do post such type of data for other types of disasters.

  4. They are, compared to their neighbors, Norway and Finland, that are similar in culture, food habits, standard of living etc.

Simplistic , static analysis. Certainly though even by your rudimentary standards. Sweden is not 10 times Norway.

    Amendment I

Sub clause, unless a little virus comes around the media scares the shit out of everyone needlessly then it's totally okay to ignore all of the amendments and remove everyones rights.

Let's do the math together shall we, this time with a calculator!?? Source Worldometer:

    Sweden: 1400 death

    Finland: 82

    Norway: 161

You are right, it is ONLY 8.7 times more. They usually add Finland and Norway together to make the population comparable to Sweden, so

    1400/ (243)= 5.76

So although not 10 times but almost 6 times more death in Sweden, than 2 very similar countries with lock downs. We will come back to these numbers let's say, in a week? Just to see if Sweden makes it to 10 times.

After a little search finding Hungary (same population as Sweden's) they only have 156 dead.

1400/156= 9 times less dead than no lock down Sweden.

The Funding Fathers didn't hear about the interwebs, not their fault. Online you can still write anything and if you can keep your 6 feet, you can even assemble, but I would advise doing it online.

So none of those are really prohibited. And also the FFs forgot to put in the footnotes:

*in case of deadly epidemic, these can be temporarily suspended

In short, your argument is archaic, potentially dangerous, in short, a health hazard. Personally I believe in Social Darwinism. SD says: idiots should die, so I am not against thousands congregating in a church and passing the virus to each other. After all they are going to heaven, aren't they? The only problem that they would infect others too, who don't deserve it.

You should have been spending most of your time trading...exploiting the market reaction to this Pandemic instead of having the shit scared out of you.

Simply, your rights as a trader that has all the time in the world to trade from home has been intact as a trader during this Pandemic. Hope you made a lot of money because you won't see this type of trading conditions until the next global financial / health crisis.

Seriously, in less than a year from today...you'll be complaining about how boring the markets have been due to the lack of volatility.

Yet, you'll be better aware of the facts (quoted below by Pekelo) the next time a Pandemic comes around...its always a changing world and bacteria/virus are becoming more tolerant (more dangerous) especially the mutated versions...

It will happen again unless we're all so drugged up like Zombies so that no bacteria/virus can harm us.

All Pandemics have an economic toll especially the ones that hit globally and fast...catching most offguard including the naysayers / not fair / disbelievers.
