No, no. It isn't whether hospital workers who are working in a contagious environment aren't statistically more at risk from contacting a disease than they are of dying from a gunshot wound. That isn't at all what you said. You said that if we don't practice social distancing it is the same as shooting your family with a gun. I know you never admit error, but you're not going to be able to back peddle from this one.
So what? Even if everyone in your family worked in hospitals, it still doesn't even come close to making the statement: "ignoring social distancing is the same as you shooting my family with a gun." Not. Even. Close Even if I ignore social distancing, that does what to your family directly? Lets say I happen to get sent to a hospital where your family member works and I happen to be assigned to them and they happen to catch the virus from me because they happen to not follow all the protective rules correctly, and then they happen to die from it. This isn't the same as someone going up to your family member and shooting them. Not on any planet in this universe.
Were does this nonsense originate. Alex Jones? We are just now getting what may be reliable quick serological tests for the antibodies. To make matters even worse the CDC has apparently mingled the test results for the live virus with highly unreliable serological test results. It's a mess!
Your wandering in circles again. If you don't believe that COVID-19 is such a threat than you should go work with people who believe it is the number 1 threat to their lives. May you can persuade them that risky behavior from people that cause the disease to spread is not a problem.
You're (you are) trying to get out of a stupid statement again. I never said Covid wasn't a threat. I never said it wasn't dangerous. I never even said not following social distancing wasn't risky. All I said was that not practicing social distancing wasn't the same thing as shooting your family with a gun, which is the exact statement you made.
Tackleberry Tao.. why is it he fixates on anything to do with gun deaths. He is obviously perfectly sane.
you are just making shit up That may be the thought by some in some hospitals with some workers. But, it is absolutely not the thought of other doctors and nurses in some other hospitals. Myraid doctors disagree with you assement. Ihave read in the press and a few I have spoken to personally are highly concerned that morons in the press scare the shit out of people and they are too afraid to come in and get the medical care and diagnostics they need.
