I saw the curved lines just outside of whatever central area I was looking at, but they went away every time I tried to center my focus on them. Apparently some people don't see the curved lines in their peripheral vision, though, based on the comments posted underneath the image.
It is an illusion (misconception) to believe a plant that appears stationary while we're looking at it is actually unmoving for most of the day... they really move, even when there is no wind.
Much admiration for the artist who created this. Btw, Figen on Twitter (X) is a great follow... she finds remarkable pictures and videos.
Is this really true... I only hear one of the words no matter what I look at. It's the one whose number of syllables seems most consistent with the sound.
