Surprising perceptual illusions

I don't want to have to say I told you so, but I told you so.

 

Cats are fooled by the same perceptual illusions that we are:

 

Another one that didn't seem to disconcert the cats too much...

 

Hmmm... the bars do appear to be black and white when I zoom in closely, but they look red and white when zoomed out.

 

Well done...

 

My sense of the scale of sizes of the biggest things out there was just an illusion.

 

WTH... I had no idea that "Zero Shadow Day" was a real thing.

This is a strange one because of the green color that appears...

 

I didn't see much movement here... will interpret that as a good sign.
