Given his fantasist past and obvious many, many psychological faults and perversions it is very believable that some Russian set this up. Donald walking into a room and being surprised by this show, why not? It really all depends on whether he lingered and what he said. He is self-proclaimed petty, vindictive & revenge seeking. Exactly the sort of adolescent adult some Russian might try and impress with this. It is very believable. There is an almost unlimited amount of material showing Donald is a dirty "germophobe" minded creep.
http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/10/politics/russia-dossier-update/ US investigators corroborate some aspects of the Russia dossier By Jim Sciutto and Evan Perez, CNN Updated 5:25 PM ET, Fri February 10, 2017 Washington (CNN)For the first time, US investigators say they have corroborated some of the communications detailed in a 35-page dossier compiled by a former British intelligence agent, multiple current and former US law enforcement and intelligence officials tell CNN. As CNN first reported, then-President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama were briefed on the existence of the dossier prior to Trump's inauguration. None of the newly learned information relates to the salacious allegations in the dossier. Rather it relates to conversations between foreign nationals. The dossier details about a dozen conversations between senior Russian officials and other Russian individuals. Sources would not confirm which specific conversations were intercepted or the content of those discussions due to the classified nature of US intelligence collection programs. But the intercepts do confirm that some of the conversations described in the dossier took place between the same individuals on the same days and from the same locations as detailed in the dossier, according to the officials. CNN has not confirmed whether any content relates to then-candidate Trump. The corroboration, based on intercepted communications, has given US intelligence and law enforcement "greater confidence" in the credibility of some aspects of the dossier as they continue to actively investigate its contents, these sources say. Reached for comment this afternoon, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said, "We continue to be disgusted by CNN's fake news reporting." Spicer later called back and said, "This is more fake news. It is about time CNN focused on the success the President has had bringing back jobs, protecting the nation, and strengthening relationships with Japan and other nations. The President won the election because of his vision and message for the nation." Spokespeople for the FBI, Department of Justice, CIA and Office of the Director of National Intelligence declined to comment. US intelligence officials emphasize the conversations were solely between foreign nationals, including those in or tied to the Russian government, intercepted during routine intelligence gathering. Some of the individuals involved in the intercepted communications were known to the US intelligence community as "heavily involved" in collecting information damaging to Hillary Clinton and helpful to Donald Trump, two of the officials tell CNN. Until now, US intelligence and law enforcement officials have said they could not verify any parts of the dossier. Officials who spoke to CNN cautioned they still have not reached any judgment on whether the Russian government has any compromising information about the President. Officials did not comment on or confirm any alleged conversations or meetings between Russian officials and US citizens, including associates of then-candidate Trump. One of the officials stressed to CNN they have not corroborated "the more salacious things" alleged in the dossier. CNN has not reported any of the salacious allegations. Trump dismissed the entire dossier last month during his only news conference as President-elect, saying in January, "It's all fake news. It's phony stuff. It didn't happen." The dossier was commissioned as opposition research by political opponents of then-candidate Trump and compiled by a former British intelligence agent. US intelligence agencies checked out the former MI6 operative and his vast network throughout Europe and found him and his sources to be credible.
He didn't pardon Joe because Joe will get a trial and his defenses are excellent so Trump does not need to take shiite on that right now. He already has plenty to deal with already and does not need an extra scoop. Joe's cool because he knows he is not going to jail either way.
Yup. Found guilty by the same judge who accused him of contempt when it is clear from case law and judicial ethics that he is entitled to a separate jury trial when it is criminal contempt. Nothing is over in any case until appeals are heard. Probably you knew that. It is also clear that it is extremely difficult to find criminal contempt where the defendant relied upon advice of counsel to do what he did. The jury can figure all that out. Joe got nuttin worry about. He pissed off a judge and he/she did a quick hatchet job on him without regard to the law and process that joe was entitled to. That will all get straightened out by the appeals court which will order a jury trial for Joe.
"Yup. Found guilty by the same judge who accused him of contempt when it is clear from case law and judicial ethics that he is entitled to a separate jury trial when it is criminal contempt." "U.S. District Court Judge G. Murray Snow ordered Arpaio’s deputies to stop holding individuals solely on the belief they were in the country illegally. They only were to detain those who were accused of a state crime." "Last year, Snow found Arpaio and three aids guilty of civil contempt. He then referred Arpaio, two aides and a former attorney for criminal contempt charges, though federal prosecutors opted to only pursue Arpaio, and to only charge him on preliminary injunction violation." "On Monday, U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton found Arpaio, the former Maricopa County, Ariz., sheriff, guilty of criminal contempt of court, finding that he willfully violated a federal judge's order. I thought I got that covered by saying "may be true after all"? The point is that when I say "may be true", it opens the door not just to the collusion, but also the tape or anything else in the dossier. Since the authorities have already confirmed some of the details to be accurate, it's not a stretch to say other aspects are as well.
