We probably give different meaning to these terms (fear/greed). Maybe because I treat human emotional conditions differently as a psychologist. I don't judge them, only measure them and observe as they influence the human behavior. Sometimes just mentioning it already provides very interesting results.
If you've been accused of being a truck driver that's a good sign. Anekdoten was an artist when it came to trading. I've probably read way too many books & internet threads on trading, but out of everything I've ever read nobody has ever impressed me more. I couldn't imagine him being a fraud after all I've read & being part of his chat room for a while. He was very sharp & definitely passed the bullshit test. After reading way too much you can tell who is for real & who is not.
Me too, I get the feeling that Surf was gambling and not trading his method. I want to say "rookie mistake" but Surf has been trading since 1990! Not really sure WHAT to make of this.
Either that or he's not too confident in the long run viability of the price drivers method. He was trying to "pad" his account to cover future poor price driver trades. Of course, this is just a theory. Another theory, as you suggest, is he is just weak minded and would rather trade to impress others or satisfy his ego rather than to be consistently successful. Who really knows, other than Surf himself.
i got the feeling while doing it that i had to scalp, also had trouble constantly putting in stops, knowing that they would almost surely be hit,the combine is a pressure cooker if your not a ]scalper, trying to be one,you need to play by there rules in sim before joining, jumping in to anothers trading style different from your own ,you quickly become a fish out of water
There are 9 days left in the Combine challenge. Not ONE "surf hater, TA lover" has entered. One even wants to be "paid" in advance for lost opp costs, LMFAO! This speak volumes. surf
Price Drivers are for the longer term. Although, they can be whittled down into short term entry tools. Thanks, surf
Yeah, it suggests that we are trading REAL accounts, you know, how real traders extract real money from the mkts. These pretend games may be fun, but there is no point when you are ALREADY fully funded. I know this concept seems alien to you, for some odd reason.
