LMAO! Some guy in the TopStep combine lost 18K in oil yesterday. I recommended flipping the chart monitor 180
Brother Surf, I've been working hard for you this morning: My longs in oil have outnumbered my shorts! And I'm stepping away from my desk for a while...that's generally a signal for a very strong move
Funny! happy to see we are on the same side on this one. Yeah, I am expecting a strong upward move in CL to continue. Holding longs here. surf
No, following makes no sense. You need to get in prior to the "money" moving the market otherwise you are too late or at the best miss most of the move. Price Drivers try to place you into a trade PRIOR to the move taking place-- Following is for girlie men. Just kidding! surf
It's interesting to compare a TA price driver in action with a surf price driver. TA gives precise zones and reveals the intent of the Strong Hands and it always drives out the weak hands. Compare this to my last chart. It's not so easy to call in advance because we usually follow the market, which seems a safer option. Time will tell. (Pls excuse typos on chart)
So a "special situation" is over ("too late") by the time price actually turns in your intended direction? How "special" is that?
Sometimes that's very true like in a news release, but for the vast majority of cases that's not at all the way the market works. JCP was a case in point. Massive buying that couldn't be hidden that afforded ample opportunity to get in long and they had this price as a goal. I could see the zones and then just wait for them to show their hand.
hey x, you missed the classic chart structure at the bottom. pro $ pounded the crap out of the penny at 4.2 another classic.
lol You're absolutely correct eurotrasher, I missed surf's call or I'd have been all over it but others called it spot on with good old TA. Seems worth keeping an eye on surf's calls so I'll try not to miss out again, time permitting If this is a new idea for him, lets see how it goes. At the moment there is a "gap" between where he thinks the driver is going and where it actually goes and if that continues it could be very profitable to fade and if he gets it right then we can all party with surf. I like surf's irrational over confidence - it reminds me of me when I recall being drunk (a long time ago now).
