  1. I put in the arithmetic for surf and his readers.

    there are three bars

each has a increasing relative contract value difference.

the first difference is less than the second difference.

differences over constant time periods represent velocity. Differences in differences can represent acceleration if the difference is an increasing inequality.

This all is an example of adding degrees of freedom to raw data. I use about 70 degrees of freedom in my system of how markets operate. So I watch the flow of data with certainty.

To have a leading indicator to optimize carving the price turn, you take the first difference and add it to the second bar. this total ,when exceeded, gives a TRUE value of ACCELERATION of volume velocity.

On the 29th (yesterday) see bars 34, 68, and 77. For today (30th) see bars 20 25 and 32 so far today (as of bar 45). All ES trades.

Maybe surf's quants can do this arithmetic for him in code and he can do several intraday trades right after a trend segment ends. His quants can screw up trend ends and it still works as shown by the examples. I just wanted surf to have a process for making money in his knowledge base. He could compound the profits to have many many contracts. I suggest that he operate at five times the market capacity so he could find out what making 1000 points looks like on a daily basis.

  2. We are continually booking heavy profits, as the Price Drivers lead the way to 1000 DJIA points in the YM. A Bentley GT 2005 will be the reward when hit. HLF short looking better by the day on the way to 20. surf

Steady as she goes Surf, this may be a one trick pony for you...
Very rarely do we get such long uninterrupted uptrends, this is currently an abnormality.

  7. However, there a some slight warning signs...

Hint: Look at junk vs. investment grade bonds.

    Maybe it means nothing, but...

  10. There has NOT been a change with the Price Drivers. We remain highly bullish in the DJIA holding longs here. Staying short HLF-- no change. surf
