Some are, depends how it is structured-- clientcentric or managercentric--- they can be a fee money pit for the client--- but making it clientcentric by providing the client profits prior to dollar one being paid in costs/fees creates a win win situation for everyone. Yes, you would call them fundamental as they have nothing to do with past price. the underlying factors that move price-- the things that move prior to price moving. surf
