Surf report readers, we are holding longs here as we grind higher to the target of 1000 points in the YM. Stay tuned for any changes with the underlying Price Drivers. surf
corn, where did u post these trades? sorry if i missed. you gotta watch..he (surf) probably is mining for trading strats ; which in itself there is nothing wrong with that.
Thanks! with the power of compounding, I expect to see all "price action, chart based" traders who put the time in to learn to dominate the Forbes 400 in the next several years-- at least there should be one---right? You rarely lose, in a game designed to take your money, so you are smarter than the market due to prescient timing not money management---mm folks lose a lot, but the many losses are smaller than the few wins-- surf PS-- just to clarify-- are you claiming greater than 50/50 wining percentage based on certain price patterns? Just want to make sure we are on the same page.
Yea, I am sure Surf is far smarter than he's trying to show. Posted Euro trades on Myfxbook in Autumn for some time. Then stopped, cause changed the broker and even the market traded (found NQ moves far better ). Here's part of that track record from late Sept./Oct., which is still there on the site (31 trade): http://www.myfxbook.com/members/cornix/cornix-forex/392490
Doubt it. Because: 1. I never said I rarely lose. Quite often really. Most trading days being profitable is different from that. 2. Compounding to mega-millions is not realistic with intra-day trading. That's a myth among newbies who've never hit the decent size themselves. 3. For most successful traders I know (including myself) personal freedom is the #1 value in life. While being overexposed to public and making "too much" (so to say) money can seriously harm that freedom. 4. Who cares at all about all those lists? My thinking was always it's those people who've never seen decent money themselves and hence believe that "million dollars is not cool, billion is", same middle class crowd which knows everything about $30K swiss watches.
LOL! no bright red ferarri for me, ever! I respect your good nature and easy going attitude--- last time I got in such a conversation with a TA true believer, it ended in a nasty way. So, you have lifted my opinion of the civility of TA believers, if nothing else. BUT i still believe you have been fooled by randomness. Check back in 3 years to see if I was right. surf
My pleasure to talk with you too, Surf. Aside from any schism in regard to trading approaches I'd like to meet live some day, hopefully visit U.S. sooner or later. You obviously must have your reasons to consider what you do, I don't put the pressure in any way, just share my life experience with you and others. You're right, time will show what the reality is.
