What makes you think it's $4000? Who are "real" market participants? Why is what I do "gamblers voodoo"? Only because you don't understand it?
You made 100% of your income from trading during these years? You postponed writing and marketing during these periods?
One more question: is someone trading 1 CL/ES or whatever contract with say $10K account (just as an example) a "real" market participant or "unreal"?
I never said I was successful enough to live the lifestyle I desire--- there are no at home retail traders who live a good lifestyle without first being wealthy or another reason other than trading. In addition, edges change---- for anyone to suggest the same method works now as it did several years ago is absolute BS. surf
So you've never been able to trade for a living, you tried to but was unable to do it, correct? My method works for at least 4 years (as I trade it) and it worked way before that which I am 99.999% sure about. Why do you call that BS? Because your try to trade for a living failed?
Brother, my publishing company, which ran almost by itself for over 15 years allowed me the time to trade full time in all the capacities-- so truthfully, I was never forced to rely on trading for survival. I feel bad for those with a low net worth who attempt to "trade" for a living---If you are already "set" then its one thing--- but otherwise you are only fooling yourself. surf
There is no evidence otherwise, no matter how much aliases stomp their feet and insist otherwise--often with a devious goal to get more noobs into the game--- - no one has started "poor" and is now making a good living only from trading proceeds--- there are many who were already wealthy, got inheritances, or whatever that are doing it--- but ZERO who started with nothing....
AND don't I know it...!!! The worse part is no one believes you when you tell them that.... They look at you as if you're full of it... Trust me everyone... Marketsurfer is telling the truth here... The market changes all the time... Once computers were introduced to NYSE scalping pretty much went dead for everyone who wasn't using HFT algos... AND scalping was hard enough even when the market was controled by human operators...
