  3. So you won't be using ANY past price or past mkt data to determine an entry trigger?

  4. This has turned into a semantics discussion.

  5. SURF ALERT

Our Price Driver Channel System has identified its first potential trade in Apple.

The upper channel line is 633 and the lower channel line is 609 ---in between is the death channel--- stay flat. If the upper line is broken by 3 minutes, go long with the line as the original stop level. Should the lower line be broken by the same parameters go short with the lower line as the original stop level. How you manage the trade, after entry, is dependent on your goals and risk tolerance. The machine is set to execute these parameters 3 times with losses prior to shutting off due to levels proving themselves not correct. We use to use 5 but discovered 3 is the optimal number of tries.

Lets go do what happens. surf

  6. And where do you side....is past price analysis or past mkt data analysis a form TA or not?

  7. I agree with Arrow--- this semantic wrangling is ridiculous--- only thing that matters is if the PDC System creates profits.

  8. I've always been in the camp that whatever creates profits is the ONLY thing that really matters. I've never poo pooed someones method because it's very different than my own or it was based on something (for example TA for some people) that I didn't believe could possibly work.
Many people have wasted time telling others what is or is not possible when all that really matters is what creates profit for them. So I agree 100% with what you say really matters. :)

  9. Very true, I don't disagree.

However, if someone told you they were consistently successful by making decisions
Based on the shapes of the clouds going by, wouldn't you question their claims?

This is how I view the TA wisdom parrots on this site--- the claims are so obviously non sensical, like watching the clouds, that it should be challenged then dismissed

  10. Well, you really can't disagree since I was 100% agreeing with your statement. Not disagreeing is redundant. :)

It's clear to me that the anti TA brigades gonzo hate vibe stems from a lack of understanding mkt relationships that exist. Not saying these are easy to find but they do align and produce profitable trading opps each day. If this brigade thinks this is akin to watching clouds go by, then this certainly bolsters my belief in their lack of understanding how to capitalize on these re-occurring relationships.

In the end, though, all that really matters is what YOU do to profit from the mkt. TA or otherwise.
