thanks, savant. this was not a trade based on the software, sorry about the confusion---i use the programs for intraday stuff, this is a longer term entry which i scale into. these trades are normally a little early, but the scaling in brings my B/E often near the price rollover/under point. holding shorts here... surfer
Wow. That is an interesting statement. Do you have any evidence of a lead/lag relationship? I dont expect any details, a simple yes or no will do.
i find it very tough to see real supp'n'res on fx crosses...and if not surgical i have to stomach substantial volatility, just cannot handle it; euro/$ as for i.e is all over da place more than us futs imo. how much room usually do u fx guys give to u trade before bailin' out[?]'n'what's u win/lose ratio overall[?]
i am continuing to hold here in short eur/usd long dollar. getting back some of the drawdown at this time. best, surfer
hey bit--- i actually enjoy the FX market as a supplemental market to trade. i find it to be quite amiable to the style of scaling in and out. yes, there are drawbacks, but overall its decent. surfer
yeah, am lookin' at it recently due to vols collapse on stocks after da open...not much to do for hours sometimes other than pick up 3-5c here'n'there...still, can't bear meself to trade it yet.
i was highly skeptical from my background in equities futures and some options. but have found there is definitely opportunity there. surfer
we are continuing to feel the heat as the position moves against the entry here. i am still indicating dollar strength this week---gonna give it some more time. remember, when trading this way, position sizing in relation to your capital is critical! surfer
well, it is not that am skeptical; there are sure good opportunities when equities are stuck'n' currencies are trendin' nicely like ystdy da euro/pound...those are da kind of days it is worth tradin' 'em imo...sure i wudn't choose 'em as me first vehicle of choice tho... happy tradin'
