  2. surfer what happened to your neo gann system that used to try to catch breakouts from a channel up or down. did you give up on that because of too many whipsaws?

    yes, it was getting whipsawed--however, its still part of the arsenal--too bad i was not using it on this run up!!

    These blanket statements of "losers average losers" and the like really make me sit back and laugh. These statements take nothing about position sizing with relation to portfolio size etc. into account. The statements by themselves mean nothing, absolutely nothing. I average losers quite often, but I never overextend and that is the key. Now, if you commit a huge amount of portfolio size and then average in, then that would make you a loser. That is something that I don't do. I have been averaging losers for 25 and a half years and I am still here.

  9. yeah, it goes higher and higher, and any indicator that measures divergence goes lower and lower ...

    when it blows, it's gonna blow hard!

    damn, wish i had the stones (and the loot, and the knowledge) to manage money like this
