  1. Jt', your name rings a bell. Isn't that the name of the "brokerage" in Boiler Room? I really liked that movie. Vin Diesel was smoooth. And the main protagonist - can't think of his name - played Nic Cage's brother in Gone in 60 Seconds. Good actor.

    But I digress.

  3. Actually, I think that is marketsurfer's role in this thread.

However, if I may be permitted an observation, I would have this to say. I hope that marketsurfer's "science" bears out and allows him to exit unscathed. Even so, it is probably inopportune to mistake poor timing and an inability to admit it as a sign of heroic courage. If he carries his position into the FOMC announcement on Wednesday and it possibly bales him out, then I think he will be one step closer to the really big one. And that's when marketsurfer becomes marketsuffer.

  4. Well this thread certainly is lively.

Nothing like being controversial to draw'em like moths to a flame!

I doubt 'my man is gonna go bust. Probably has a 100 pt stop (based on average price), don't know what 'tools he's using, but the major gap up with continued bullishness throughout the day was a huge signal on Friday (for the TA's out there).

I'd say there's a profit potential of 300 - 500 points in this one (at least that's what he's looking at).

The thing is, this guy surfs oceans, and we're used to playing around in ponds ...

    Later,

    Jimmy

  5. Surfer, glad you are still trading, and it is good to see Easy is still around. A lot of controversy around you, but from what I remember you ride the markets like a wave. And I also recall that you are one who puts his trades where his mouth is, good job! The rookies gain a lot by reading your stuff.

    OK, enough bootlicking.

Are you executing on Currenex? Or are you executing against a brokers "captured" pool of liquidity? Countertrend trading can be profitable on the spot FX, buuuut, if the banks are pushing it down, don't stand in front of it, they tend to move together, even more than the big houses trading the Spazdaq, and the Not Your Stock Exchange.

    Wishing you the best

  9. Just know you from the boards, I go back before the Hitman saga and LURK a lot. I have been concentrating on FOREX trading and have not even had the time for lurking. But I have a bit more time now and am looking forward to your journey.

    Have a profitable day

  10. By the way, just for the sake of entertainment, and this is not to be construed as investment advice. We have placed a short entry at 1.2671, EURUSD.

We showed the current chart to our draft mules Molly and Dolly, they pinned their ears back, and gave a raucous bray, this is a sure sign of a falling market. :D
