Dude, quit whining. You have a baby coming into this world and the last thing it needs is a baby for a father. Cornix is polite and wants to discuss trading and all you want to do is be combative with him. Lighten up already.
I do not want the guy posting on my journal. His claims are simply not accurate, as shown with the atticus post to his million hits journal, why can't he just start his own journal, rather than make the claims here? One reason, and thats to poach my readers for his purposes-- he fooled me in the start, I thought he was legit also-- then came the hyperbole, talk of chat rooms, managed money, etc--- clearly a stealth vendor or a stealth vendor wannabe testing the waters---- nothing wrong with me requesting he takes the dog and pony show elsewhere. surf
This isn't Minority Report. Just because YOU believe he is a stealth vendor, does not automatically make him one. If you catch him in the act of actual vending, then that's different. But all he is doing here is discussing trading, agreeing/disagreeing with others opinions and the like. To ask that he be thrown out before he actually violated any rules is unwarranted.
I am not asking that he be banned, (untill proven to be a vendor) just that he not post that nonsense on the surf report/alert thread. His friend Xpert was banned for stealth vending--- what he says isn't accurate therefore i dont' want it on my thread. I could care less about him saying whatever he wants elsewhere, the mods wil catch on eventually, but not here. The frequency of hits here have already decreased due to his unwarranted attention seeking--- I don't want to have close the entire thread due to it being hijacked by a stealth vendor type with an agenda. But, if his material isn't removed, I may not have a choice. surf
I think Surf has every right to complain about OT posts in his own journal. This isn't chit-chat or P&R. What's the point of clogging a journal with useless BS? You don't like the way he trades...? then don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. I am not defending Surf but the principle. This goes for any journal being trolled -- which is exactly what raskolnikov and cornix are guilty of doing.
I agree. Continuously flogging a dead horse or posting off-topic on someone else's journal is in bad form. This argument should have ended long ago. If cornix really wants to argue about possible returns or whatever, he should start a thread for that.
We are currently letting the ebb and flow work itself out in the DJIA while holding shorts for the inevitable decline. 15542 high will not be taken out for at least 12 months---our long term holds in EDR and FSC are down slightly but dividends have been produced and reinvested, Regarding FNMA-- I am a buyer on a break out above 3 or a break down to the $0.75 range--- I am liking my percieved odds at these entry levels--- surf
I don't think it's too much for Surf to ask that posters in his journal refrain from mentioning/advertising their services on the surf report. After all, that is what 'Xpert' was doing--- his unsubstantiated claims about the huge returns and trading sizes of his students were sure to attract some pm's of interest from naive noobs-- at which point a mentoring deal could be struck behind the scenes. Surf is keen to prevent a repeat occurrence, and it is clearly cornix's association with prior offender Xpert that has him on high alert. You can't blame him for being suspcious given that the two of them know each other. This should serve as a lesson to all of what can happen to your reputation if you choose to associate yourself with fraudulent characters such as that.
True, and the first futures FCM you pick could turn out to have a psycho CEO who stole money from his clients around a quarter billion and every year prior just before NFA rules would have prevented this.
That's terrible what happened to you. I have not been following the situation, any chance of you getting the money back? surf
