I understand that every move you make isn't recorded here. But you specifically said: It's one thing to not have the call here and say something after you "make money" and expect people to believe it (fat chance). It's another thing to say something completely the opposite and expect people to believe it. I mean, how do you expect to have any credibility whatsoever on this site when you pull shenanigans like this?
I really don't care what you or anyone here thinks of me or my trades. I post here strictly for myself and the folks who "get it" and matter to me ---surf
Not to be a dick but surf consults for a lot of hedge funds and he is probably one of the most well connected people on this site. I HIGHLY DOUBT you have the experience and ambiance that surf has in the trading world. Let it go he has had a rough couple weeks and he probably posted that trade when he was working with one of his hedgie friends.
Marketing cars doesn't mean you know anything about cars http://erstwhilejewelry.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/IMG_2386.jpg The same amount of faith i'd put in this guy about the future direction of gold/metals. And I am sure he consults with a lot of jewelers.
Sorry, "actionzip54", but your word means jack to me (and probably anyone else on this board). I could care less what you, or surf does, regardless of whether it is overstated or not. What I'm trying to reconcile is not only the inconsistency of one of his calls, but his complete refusal to own up to the mistake. You may think that doesn't matter, but it most certainly does. As for the hedge funds he supposedly consults, that explains why some 80% of them do worse than the S+P. I always wondered about that mystery, thanks.
If you knew anything you would know that surf is basically a legend in much of the trading world. I'm pretty sure he worked at Tudor Investments for a while as an analyst/ trader and worked directly with PTJ. But, hey, I guess you know more than PTJ...
