That would be an illness. It's possible, many gamblers demonstrate it and some on ET only want their 15mins of fame and a new alias. Surf needs to be popular and consequently he gets emotional on a big win or loss as it's all related. Every single person who has ever traded needs to face these issues and walk the lonely walk where these can't effect you. I hope you are totally wrong. I can't say because I have only noticed surf in the past year as he thread hopped on his Anti TA Crusades. Hopefully he's over that and we can all get back to the issue in hand - making money whichever way you see best rather than trashing each others method.
Real turns happen for one reason. The reason is that the market has turned.RTH reversals happen several times a day for many different reasons. Is that clear?
His death channel approach would be way easier. It is a very simple concept, when you know the market will move just don't know the direction. As long as the price is in the channel, you wait. Once the channel is left you jump on the direction of the breakout...
LOL!! You outta your mind folks here! They spend billions on the researches and you want to make it with the channels? You really smoke too much here, all of you...almost
It's a chronic problem most traders face, which is why it's so important to have a stop built into a system. It doesn't have to be ultra tight but it should exist otherwise it's only a matter of time before it's game over for the trader. A ticking time bomb if you will.
Thats what I haven't figured out...is TA only Price and Volume? What exactly "makes" an indicator "technical"? I know that fundamental analysis is based on certain know "facts" (and... known... should be in quotes as well) such as PE etc. I guess you could argue that fundamental analysis is also technical. On ET we can argue pretty much anything! In the end each trader finds what works for them and if they never find it then they quit. From what I've seen the Price Drivers are no better or worse than any other "technical" or "fundamental" analysis. JMO
No, nor does it explain why you think RTH is random. I won't say anymore on the subject here unless smurf wants to discuss it though.
