  1. Jealous of what??
Your uncanny ability to lose on paper, or for real money, whichever it may be?
And then come on here and tout your wisdom?

See Goodboy, you have zero skills or humility.
Which means you are the KING of loss disclosure aversion.
You overstate your calls (you never ever shorted the Dow at the top tick, you posted that it was the top tick about 250 points later).
You have been torched by this market, live and in colour.

My idle funds are destroying your traded funds.
    Who should be jealous?

  2. marketsurfer; a proposal:

Since you said the magic trader-death inducing words of "100% convinced", why don't we go ahead and make the stakes a little higher?

If you're right, and that means this move up was just testing the top and the high in YM is never broken until a significant drop (of biblical proportions as per your previous posts describing it, so near recession style bear market) then you'll have bragging rights on this board for a long time to come and will be able to hold that over everyone's head (including your critics.)

But if you're wrong. You leave. You leave and never come back. Ever. Not even under another name.

No whining, no take backs, no trying to weasel out of it on a technicality (that means if we go sideways from here for the next 6 months, you're still wrong)... No more talk about PD, no more talk against TA, nothing..

    you're. just. gone.

If you're truly 100% convinced, play for the court (ET.)

  3. How is this post still here? Mods must be caught in lava, or being held at gunpoint by the TA mob.

Now, before this post is banished to the land of wind and ghosts...

    It. Will. Never. Happen.

Surf has already said that he would be leaving ET for a long time if his YM trade didn't work out, since he supposedly invested 90% of his liquid net worth in it. (Pardon me for not providing a link to that statement, but I'm not in the mood to dig for it right now, and, in any case, many readers of this thread remember him making that statement, I'm sure.) So, if the market breaks through its top and shoots higher (which is something that I'm confident will happen during the next two weeks), then Surf should just disappear from the forums for a long time. But he won't, because he's full of it, and nothing he says is serious, his postings are just a cry for attention and there's no reason to engage him seriously because at this point he's shown that he's nothing more than a pretender, a clown, a common troll.

  5. He claimed he would leave (started a thread about it) and was back the next day. He's about as reliable as pulling out.

  6. (Don't take this the wrong way, as what I'm about to say isn't to lecturing you or anything, nor is it to defend or attack people in this thread as I don't really keep up on drama around ET, it's just a thought.)

marketsurfer, being in a journalist-like profession (many links dropped to his articles on a site he's affiliated with, talks about being hired by yahoo finance to write articles, etc..) means that this kind of negative attention ends up being positive for his career more than not.

If you truly thought he was a "troll", and you wanted to harm his persona here, you'd starve the guy of attention.

It's counter intuitive, I know, but people love a good train wreck and will flock to see it... which increases his hit count on his articles, and thus, progresses what his words are worth to advertisers.

Kinda like how an author wouldn't exactly see a drop in book sales if a news agency reported on how they got drunk and punched their publicist in a public setting. It would most likely increase book sales more than anything else.

Or another example would be how many new members here "found" and started consuming Hershey's work on this very forum by following the trails of criticism he gets wherever the guy goes.

(This concept was borrowed from Antifragile by Taleb, which I just started reading and am finding quite fascinating.)

  9. We remain 100% confident that the top tic is in the cash DJIA at 15542 for the year. Nothing has changed, expecting another, even more severe decline....surf
