  1. He is a writer, not a trader.

I remind the Three Amigos markersurfer is not selling anything here and has no need to provide any of you "proof". He is announcing trades in advance so that will have to suffice. If you don't feel that's quite enough then maybe one of you should start your own journal with calls in advance, screenshots of all trades, P/L blotters, etc.

  5. Surfey, Surfey, Surfey...you may or may not win this one. But putting all of your chips in the pot and lettin' 'em ride when you don't have to is a big mistake. At least if you want to keep on trading without the soul-crushing of a blowout (for reference see Neiderhoffer, et al).

Take a cue from Toddo Harrison. He's been working mostly short lately, but what he does (and what any smart trader does) is "trade around" the position. If you had simply closed a few of your contracts after every drop, then reestablished shorts after every pop, you would have at least banked something.

    Good luck.

  6. That's not how this top dog operates. He goes almost all in and just lets it ride. Who needs trade mgmt? He either wins huge or he'll be gone from here. It's a win/win for him. :)

  7. All these things are easy to say-- trade around positions, time your entries and exits, wait then enter short--- however. It's mostly armchair quarterbacking and hindsight woulda coulda shoulda thinking. My system is long term and it continues to provide ultra bearish signals. It and other confirmation signs have given me conviction thus the aggressive short positions in the DJIA. Staying short. surf
