You bunch of cynical ole codgers. Leave da man alone. If he has his pink pants on he may just pull this trade off. Then what? He'll be gloating and you all will be hiding under the rubble.

I reported a post of yours the other day, and it was promptly removed.

    I can't link to it. It's gone.

I find accusing fellow-members of being liars (especially when you're mistaken about it) an "interesting" approach for a vendor. Get yourself banned, be allowed back in by registering as a vendor, and then start insulting people - is that the plan?

  5. She is making stuff up. Could be my ex-wife trying to discredit me. Who knows??

The funniest thing is, when marketsurfer was banned, Xela and I were internet friends when i was with a different avatar name. . Strange, aye? Marketsurfer really sets her off!!

  7. Thanks! The surf report does seem to attract the crazy traders!

That can be a good thing, as long as folks "get" it. And some certainly do. Humor doesn't always work but its a great way to get a point across when it does.

    Peace

Well, you do seem to have some experience in the financial markets, which is a lot more than most on here can say.

I had a quick look on amazon at the book outline, and, to be honest, I did not think it was anything special, but I will look closer and comment in more detail. There appears to be a lot of the "same old stuff" in the bits I saw, such as "greed and fear", etc, etc.

As you are well aware, there are many different types of algorithms used by many different groups, and the original HFT boys seem to be a thing of the past now, but please do correct me with links to prove otherwise if available?

I will agree with one thing you mentioned so far, and that is that very short term trading for the ordinary person in the street really is a fools game. However, holding on to positions for too long has, and will continue, to wipe out many trading accounts. Of course, the mere fact that a trader is over exposed shows that he really knows very little about making money trading, which is very common indeed.
